Morrisville Rotarian Ted Lambert shared with Nick DeNoia a check as a token of Rotary’s appreciation for the efforts by Nick and his staff over the past ten years for the Coat Drive. Easily 10,000 coats have been cleaned by his staff since Denise Trombley and Robin Cote started this program! This year’s staff is: Jennifer, Pam, Stephanie, Tiffany, Thelma, Shawn and David. Not present or working at the Stowe store are: Holly, Sandy, Marc, Jeff, and Matthew. Nick and his crew can take a well deserved lunch break!!
Morrisville’s downtown district can grown into the historical building style with the new downtown zoning regulations that allow for better use of the existing buildings. Morristown Zoning Administrator/Town Planner Todd Thomas shared with Morrisville Rotarians the approved changes that he helped draft. Todd also shared how the pending Route 100 Truck Route presents the downtown with the opportunity to showcase the retail, service and food offerings for the traveler who takes the village route. The meeting consensus is that as the currently under utilized buildings are renovated and occupied, the increased residential occupancy will enhance the downtown businesses.
The Morrisville Rotary Club would like to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving!
