Meeting was held at noon at the Stonegrill Pub in Morrisville. Members present: Jason McArthur, Cindy Locke, Sherry Lussier, Phil Chiaravalle, Rich Jacobs, Mary Metcalf, Mark Sinow, Marcia Marble, Roy Marble, Marci Henderson, Deanna Wood, Tricia Follert, Sharon Menard, Tim Sargent and Gary Nolan.
Guests: Nancy Sinow and Stowe Rotarian, Reid Williams.
Happy Dollars: Mark, Tim, Gary, Mary, Cindy, Sharon, Tricia, Jason, Deanna, and Marcia.
Sad Dollars: Jason shared that Chuck and Tricia Hogan’s youngest son has medical concerns.
Marci got bit and sprayed by a skunk in her home last week and is taking the rabies shot series.
Fines: Tim fined Roy for outbidding him for the Raffled top soil at last week’s Holiday Party. Tim lost and paid his $1.00 fine.
Jason fined Tim for Gary sitting off by himself. 2nd by Roy. Jason lost and Tim spun the wheel. Jason to pay $2.00 fine instead of two minute speech on Foundation.
Tricia tried to fine Cindy. Cindy is exempt as the Sargent at Arms.
Holiday Party: Jason reported that we netted $1200+/-. Raffle brought in $500. He understood that all were pleased and all went smoothly. FUTURE: attendees should RSVP as Jason had only 29 confirmed and 42 meals were served. He had told the restaurant to expect 40. Cost was $35/person: $1420 (??$1470) plus cash bar.
Miki: Ted asked Jason to share that drivers are needed to take/return Miki from an Exchange Student event in Wolfsboro, NH this weekend. Please call Ted.
Polar Splash: Cindy-next meeting is December 12 at 2 pm at the Chamber office. Jumpers’ application will be on the Morrisville Rotary website. Consider challenging other Rotary clubs to participate. Committee is Cindy, Becky, Tim. Others are welcome.
GMTCC: Jason noted that a donation of $100.00 to pay for our meal last week is in order. 2nd by Tim. VOTE: in favor.
Budget: Jason shared the December Treasurer’s Report with those present. Discussion to add GMTCC to our local high school college scholarship fund ($500.00). Jason’s motion was seconded by Mary. VOTE: in favor. Marcia asked if we have a formal scholarship application process. There is none at this time other than speaking to the school guidance office for them to choice a student from the top 10% and a student who is active in the community.
RAFFLE: was won by Jason who drew a joker. WINNING CARD is queen of spades.
